Icon:Medicine

Medicine rests on technology and science, but its power was slowly won. In 1796 Edward Jenner started vaccination. His lancets in MMW start a series of landmark items including one of the oldest stethoscopes, the first implantable pacemaker, and pioneering scanners, to trace the evolution of knowledge.
