Object:Measuring tape, 33 foot in length, c.1850

Flexible tape measure made of a cloth tape on a reel with measurements in feet and inches on one side and links on the other. It was made by John Rabone and Sons of Birmingham, and bears their Hockley Abbey trade mark. From a shipwright's tool chest containing 85 tools.
