Clothing ration book belonging to E. L. Eagle, No. G187AB 958650m containing some magenta, olive and crimson tokens. These documents were issued to all adults in the regulated British economy during and after the Second World War. Food and clothes were rationed, as was petrol. These controls were progressively eased after the war. All males between 18 and 26 were obliged to do two years national service up to 1960.
